Chapter 4.5 - Dev Log #5

So, today it's going to be a relatively short Dev Log.
WiAB's in the end phase and SG is closing in fast too.
But I still have something to say... and show.
Two dev logs ago, I published an "Ad" for a coder.
I found one pretty fast and his resume (Knows his way around Renpy/Python) was promising. We agreed on the pay and things started to unfold.
And with that, I mean nothing happened. I removed him from his position a month later, when he had nothing to show for the third time.
And this is the third time somebody I relied on became an annoyance. An annoyance that actively hurts development.
Two coders and one proofreader have gone this way before.
This is why I absolutely hate relying on others to get things done... Now I lost a month of coding progress.
I'm not going to get another coder on board, I'm just doing it myself now. But people that know their way around Python/Renpy coding, can take a look at the code after the release.
I would appreciate any feedback/suggestions/ways to make it better.
The coding for the phone and apps is manageable, so I'll be able to take this part into my own hands too.
2. Moving
I'm currently traveling a lot... To be more precise, I'm traveling to different cities to view apartments. That's quite the time investment, but I think I found the right place. Now I'm just waiting on their approval.
I will release WiAB and SG before I move.
3. Previews
The last two Preview-sets were Mila and Victoria focused.
Today, we focus on the Cheeto.
You can find two explicit previews HERE (One Cheeto & one group.)
So, I guess by the time the next Log comes out, WiAB's beta is released.
Supporters that are at least a Summer tier, will get access to the WiAB full version.
Back to work... and fixing my sleep schedule.

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences. Hard to fathom why any coder wouldn't jump at the chance to help on this game. Just don't hire Daniels .K, please,,,lol. He pumps out a LOT of Ren'py content, with some 'okay' renders...but his plot and storylines SUCK!!
