POV2 Update
🕑 Added 2025-04-24 21:07:54 +0000 UTCHey everyone! It's me again, here with another update. I'm still moving along on the Chaos POV project. For the most part it's going well. I've got a system that's more or less working for me and I'm making progress. I do think I may have jumped the gun a bit on trying to put out a fully rendered animation at this point but that's were we are right now so I'm determined to see it through. I may walk it back a bit for the next project while I iron out some of the issues I've been having and go back to the regular quality just to get the next one out a little faster. I'm hoping to finally get to Robots Vs Aliens next. For now here's another short WIP/sneak peak. Keep in mind the animation needs to be cleaned up a little still so there my be some glitching and rough spots in the animation.

Great to hear that the animation is coming along! It’s been a rough couple of months but you managed to pull through! I don’t know entirely the difference between your older rendering and this fully rendered animation, but either way choose whatever you think it’s best =)) I’m really excited for Chaos Pov 2 and most notably Robots Vs Aliens!!! I know very well that these animations will be among your best work. But again, just a friendly reminder, please do not rush the process and take as much time as you need. It doesn’t matter how much time has passed from the previous animations. At the end of the day, if you release an animation that you’re fine with, that means it’s a masterpiece for us. These little wips get the job done of getting us excited for what’s about to come, so please do not have the need to release something in-between just for the sake of being there (though of course that is up to you). As for Robots vs Aliens, I’m really excited for that one due to the potential it has because of the organic/scientific aspect around it (could be super serums, nanomachines etc…) I think you know where I’m going with this- X-rays! This premise just screams X-ray shots. Of course you plan out to what happens and I know I’ll be happy no matter what the final result has, but idk when I look at this title, internal shots just scream to me (maybe here you can use the little wip you sent to me if it works) Either way, I’m writing too much now. Excited for the future!

Looks like you got your shadows fixed. One thing I can recommend is to increase the blur radius; the edges of the shadows look too sharp to me. Another thing that might help is to have a low-intensity light that has no shadows (infinite light) to give a bit of background brightness so that nothing is completely black.
