Update!
🕑 Added 2025-01-31 19:30:41 +0000 UTCHey, guys!
Sorry it's been a lot of test posts this week. To new patrons, I promise this is not the norm!
Just wanted to give an update on a couple things:
First off, the poll results won in favor for One-Off animations like I've been doing. So, I'm gonna be continuing with that!
I am going to slide the release day to Thursday to give myself a better animation window, so I apologize for moving that slightly again.
In reference to this week's animation, I posted in the $3 chat about a family emergency that came up right in the middle of animating Dutch's project. It was something extremely distressing with triggering subject matter that completely threw off my ability to work properly. (I won't go into detail here, but I don't mind if folks ask for more info in DMs.) I also just found out my grandmother needs another surgery which is not ideal as she had a stroke not that long ago.
Admittedly, all this hindered the quality of the animation and I will be scrapping this project specifically as I feel the quality doesn't meet what I want to give you guys. I never want to do this and don't plan on doing it again, or at least not for a very long time.
So, this coming Monday I'll be starting fresh with WIPs for a new animation. I'll be taking the weekend to try and rest, get myself mentally focused again, and get my routine up and running. I think I just need a few days to clear my head.
I care about this Patreon a ton so I've felt extremely guilty for this decision to scrap a project, despite it not being something I do often.
I completely understand if folks cancel their subscriptions for this recent series of road bumps. I just hope it's clear I'm not wanting to quit nor do I plan on dropping animation. I always fret over appearing scatterbrained or flaky, but I promise that's not the root of these last two weeks being rough.
I appreciate you guys a ton and hope it doesn't feel you're being cheated given these last two weeks. I'm hoping a weekend to rest my head will get me back on schedule and in a good headspace.
Please take care of yourselves too and thank you as always for being here with me! I appreciate each of you a ton!

Thank you very much! Everyone being so supportive honestly helped a ton. Luckily, the whole family thing seems to be better so I've been able to get back to work.

Hey, I just joined but I understand full well why things are off of the norm. The content I am seeing here is amazing but burnout isn’t worth it. Work at your own pace and vent to us if you need it.

I know you strive to create art you feel proud of and meets your standards so don't beat yourself up for scraping and moving on from a project, please take all the time you need to center yourself and achieve a good, healthier head space! I know you've got this but I'm cheering all the same for you
