To answer your college application question as someone around your age (graduated 2019), I think it depends on your state? I'm from California and I didn't apply to colleges until fall of my senior year (August - December). I got my acceptance letters sometime between January-March and decision day was May 1st. To put it into perspective, graduation was in early June. So we find out REALLY late and it makes it hard for some of us to find housing at the university we do end up going to.
