My reaction is just like Alley's ... "Paris Hilton what r u doing here?" I am not saying she acts poorly, or that she was miscast ... but being so well known, her appearances always takes me right out of the scene.

Alley, I am not sure but I think you’re a little confused about the members of the Kane family. During the flashback in the car with Veronica and Lily- Lily is Duncan’s sister and is warning Veronica that her mom (who is also Duncan’s mom) would try to break Veronica and Duncan up. The scene gives the impression that the mom is very protective of her son and doesn’t want him dating Veronica. Also, Paris Hilton’s character was dating Logan, who is a friend of Duncan Kane. But she was not dating a member of the Kane family.
