I never realized how good this episode was. When I first watched it I was like "whatever" but I think this is what Veronica mars does best, interspersing case of the week with actual important plot points. The structure of this episode was really good and is more than we usually get with only a scene or two of Veronica finding info on the Lilly Kane case. Also, completely unrelated to the rest of the comment, but I love Meg. So underrated as a character, she's just too nice and I love her.

I love that Veronica was the one baking cookies for Wallace and wasn’t going to tell him. Love their friendship so much. As for Keith not minding Leo dating Veronica, in Leo’s first episode Keith and Leo work together to take down the E-String strangler. Keith respects and likes Leo because of it.
