Holyyyyy... This episode was insane. It was what so much has built towards with Faith and it was absolutely bonkers that THIS is how her story ends.. Of course, anything could happen, but it seems like this is the end of the road for Faith... AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO FEEL ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I seriously am in such shock still...
AND THENNNN we also got Buffy this episode?? HEY BUFSTER, why you coming in and stirring up drama like this? 😵 Let Angel rehabilitate the rogue slayer!! Chilll.. but fr, i go on such a long ramble about the whole Bangel thing this episode bc it is wild how theyre acting with this situation. And just the Faith situation ITSELF... So many sides to it, so I am suuuper excited to see your guys' comments and discussions on discord.

One thing not mentioned here is that this is an addiction metaphor, and a 12 step metaphor. In that you try to make amends, but whether people forgive your or not for your actions isn't the point. Angel is about saving souls, and whether or not Buffy can or should forgive Faith doesn't matter here. As for the fight between Buffy and Angel, they are both right and both wrong, I love the nuance in the scene, and I especially love that it does NOT give Buffy a pass for her BS while still making her motives understandable. I love BtVS but it does tend to give Buffy herself a major pass when she messes up (Willow gets this too.) and the theme of Angel is that redemption is a journey. Why I love the show to death.
