Goodness.... this episode was the most heart wrenching episode I have ever seen.. but also somehow the most beautifully shot and executed pieces of television that I have ever had the fortune of seeing.
This episode hit right where it was hurting and made these characters even more human than I already saw them :')

In the most relatable and complimentary way possible, I hate this fucking episode.
Anya's reaction and experience with grief is such a good representation of what it's like to be autistic and experience loss. I'm autistic and her monologue was what really pushed me over the edge with this episode. I've seen other autistic people echo the same feelings that I have towards Anya, as she is headcanon autistic for most of the people I talk to about this show. I can see why Willow was upset, but at the same time Anya was just trying to understand something she had never experienced before that doesn't have concrete answers. Concrete answers are very important to most autistic brains. Anyways! Love your reaction and this episode!
