so yes, thank you so much to everyone that has sent me things in the mail! i havent been to my post office in a bit bc i have been quarantined, but every single thing i get is so amazing and im blown away by how thoughtful you guys are :β)
and now for an update: i am feeling a LOT better than i did the past few days.. all i have left is a cough! but unfortunately i tested again today and i was still positive even though my bf tested negative yesterday :( just to be 100% safe, i am waiting to get a negative result before i see my family again, which hopefully will be in a few days!
so if all goes to plan, i should be back here on friday or saturday! and dont worry, i will be sure to post an extra upload to make up for the one i missed last week :) thank you all for your patience and all your very throughful messages and comments :β)

I've been catching up on your uploads and was a bit worried with your previous post. It's good to hear you're feeling better! But pls pls repeat the test even if it's negative if you can. If you had omicron apparently it shows up better via throat than nose testing but either way don't rush anything. I know you must be impatient to get back to normalcy but your health is more important! First be ok, make sure your loved ones are ok and safe, then come back here.

Take your time, I've been quite content watching "re-runs"

Don't worry about us, just focus on getting better.

I don't think you should put yourself through any sort of stress over these videos. If you actually feel like watching the episodes and making the videos, then sure, why not. But if it is a source of stress then I hope you just take it easy and get to it whenever you feel like it. You don't have to plug away making extra videos to make up for your hiatus. You have a very good reason for the hiatus and your audience should be understanding.

Or Bring it On, starring Faith and Glory!

Alley - you don't need a box cutter, just use the scissors as a cutter (instead of using them like scissors, open them wide and hold them so that you're using one of the blades as a cutter) - I feel silly saying this, but it doesn't look like that's crossed your mind π You keep using them to cut instead of to slice, it's driving me mad lol

Alley dear, I can only speak for myself, but all I care about is that you feel better, please don't feel pressured to go on a viewing marathon to make up for the past week - your health is more important

EEEEE Dollhouse! I'm psyched, definitely sticking around for that.

I'm really happy you're getting better! I hope you continue to do so :) Also, maybe you could watch the movie after finishing Buffy S5/Angel S2?

Thank you Cole.

Glad you're feeling better! I had some lasting tiredness for a few weeks. Best wishes to your parents. You may need a storage unit for all your boxings by the time you end the Buffyverse. If you need a Buffyverse fix to pass the time you could check out Cruel Intentions (SMG) or the American Pies (Alyson Hannigan ) if you haven't already. Or my go to movies to pass time and amuse me are My Cousin Vinny and Clueless from the 90s they always always puts me in a good mood ,since you still can't go home, maybe you need that.

im going to keep testing for a few days and if my symptoms are gone, i will discuss it with my parents. bc they have even said that after a week, they feel i should be safe. just a negative test result would make me feel extra safe haha π

I'm in NYC, not sure if you have access to home test kits in Florida because every state is different but I highly recommend.
John Sturchio
I used the home rapid test kits- tested positive 3 days ago, slightly positive yesterday and completely negative today.
John Sturchio
If you want to get tested, do rapid tests- PCR tests are unreliable after infection because they turn up positive weeks/months after the fact.
John Sturchio
Yeah after infection you can have false positive tests for months
Claire Eyles
So relieved to hear you're okay and feeling better. <3

So glad you're feeling better! Heads up, I know a few people who continued testing positive months after their symptoms had gone away, including my mother-in-law, who was never symptomatic. For some people. the test will keep coming up positive even if they're no longer contagious. Totally get your desire to keep quarantining and it's definitely the right thing to do, but if you test positive in another week or so, maybe check with a doctor to see if you're still contagious or not? Just a suggestion!

Thank you, Cole! Glad you're feeling better.

Thank you, Cole. And glad you are feeling better, the day you posted you had the virus, my social media feeds went crazy with others including many in my small personal circle, that also tested positive. Worrisome times for those of us who have autoimmune disorders...
