I used the slayalive guide when I rewatched it right when the pandemic started and sometimes I would get so engrossed in the Angel storyline it would be hard to switch back to Buffy 😂

You don't need to worry too much about the Slayalive order apart from the underlined episodes. There are some 4 episode stretches which you don't have to be as strict with.

i dont! but my camcorder shuts off after 5 minutes of being on and not recording so i know i wont ever be watching a full episode and not realize it shut off :) also ive been doing this a while so im in the habit of checking the red "on" light haha

No worries. On the subject of recording, do you also have a backup camera/audio recorder running when filming? (Even if something low quality like an older phone.) You don't get a second chance to film a first reaction, and some episodes would be bad to lose...
