I haven't read the comics. There are sad moments, with characters dying, but they don't work that well, because of the usual Shyamalan weird script with people saying things and reacting in a way nobody in real life does :)

Yeah, it's kinda frustrating, but it gave me ideas for a spin-off, maybe in the near future :)

I thought some of the body horror was interesting, but all in all not a great movie.

Then, sorry to disappoint, the transformations happen offscreen. The shitty dialogue, however, didn't :)
