bee dicks are so weird and it's impossible to tell if references are before/after being literally Ripped Out by the queen. so don't think too hard about the design on this one. they have evolved past the need to rip them out. because that's just wretched
anyway i got myself to a good stopping point with the starbuster novel so i can finally turn my brain back to monsterfuck mountain. i just have So many bee encounters to write and then i will be able to hand it off to my editor. you guys have been patient with my lack of meaningful updates so here is a fully finished illo from the "fuck the drones" route!

Oh, it's not ripped out- it *explodes off* The drone bee Wikipedia page puts it thusly: "The process of ejaculation is explosive—semen is blasted through the queen's sting chamber and into the oviduct. The process is sometimes audible to the human ear, akin to a "popping" sound. The ejaculation is so powerful that it ruptures the endophallus, disconnecting the drone from the queen."
