roger books 3 + 4 development
🕑 Added 2021-11-20 20:33:13 +0000 UTCsome concept sketches as i figure out the shape of the next roger books! since i finished the first draft of book 2, but can't get it edited right away due to holidays, naturally i'm gathering my ingredients for the next ones. my plan is to collect the first 4 into a volume, so i'm thinking about them as a whole and trying to keep them within a consistent theme. "classic" monsters is the direction i settled on, so it'll ultimately be vampire, werewolf, ghost, and a frankenstein creature.
no details on the stories themselves for you yet, but i'm kicking ideas around!

Oh truth, they look adorable
the frankenstein dude looking like, well, a dude, while looking ever so slightly off, sort of that uncanny valley type of feel? SO GOOD, love the direction that seems to be going in and no one's talking about the round-faced guy in the top set of sketches! he's a cutie!
