Simbro ResErection Update (2023-02-22)
🕑 Added 2023-02-23 00:43:07 +0000 UTCHiya everyone! Back again with some exciting news.
So before we start, our character artist and UI artist have been busy, so we don't have a lot of news on that end. Our UI artist will send me the assets for the brothel management screen tonight, though. SkullZombie (Character Artist) is starting on the next set of clothing and hair today. I'm sure we'll have more to show next week.
Backgrounds
Mamacita is back! She completed the new cabinet art and will start on the bedroom (for customers).
Programming
With little art assets to work with, I decided to buckle down and get the HTML5 version of the game ready. As mentioned, the HTML5 version suffered from bugs and has been on the back burner. NOT ANYMORE! The HTML5 version is actually up on itch.io and available for patrons!
On other things, I also took this time to alter some of the UI art to include better close/exit buttons. I still need to make some minor tweaks, but it looks good. Also, I made my own UI asset by taking existing art. Now you can progress time by clicking the time in the hud!
Besides UI and HTML5 version, I've also been working on the data management end of things, which means we will have a save-and-load system sooner than later.
Outro
That's about it for now! Thanks again for your support, and I hope to have more to show in the coming weeks.
