Simbro ResErection Update (2022-12-28)
🕑 Added 2022-12-29 01:23:09 +0000 UTCHappy Holidays Everyone!
It's the Gentle Viking back with some more news on the development. Let's get into it.
Combat Preview
We have a new video! Above, you can see a preview of the male's combat animations. Although these animations are rough, I think they will add much-needed action to the battles in Simbro ResErection. Skull Zombie will work on weapons after the new year, and we will add unique animations for those.
Art News
On to the character art. I've slowly been working through the .PSD files and correcting the art. It's a slow process, but we will have a solid baseline for the new art once it's finished. I'm also in the process of merging the Alice and Julia art into one file, which will allow us to share animations between the two.
So, we don't have much to report on about new assets. With the holidays and such, our artists are taking a much-deserved break. All of our artists will be back after the new year and working in full swing on new art. I look forward to seeing the new background art, weapons, and UI.
Music News
In other news, our composer has finished a demo for the battle theme music. They are currently polishing it and should have it complete in no time.
File Hosting
Now, let's talk about file hosting! As most of you know, Mega isn't an NSFW-friendly file hoster (which I've been using for most of the time). As the project gains more traction and popularity, it's only a matter of time before my account gets banned. So, I'm taking preemptive action and switching to GoFile. From my experience, GoFile is a pretty fast and reliable file hosting service. Our next couple of alpha updates will be hosted there, and we will monitor everyone's experience.
Alpha News
This week we will postpone the alpha update. I've managed to get the old and new UI working simultaneously, allowing you to view both, but with only minor changes; I think it's better to wait for more content before another release.
New Game Mechanic
Last but not least, I want to talk about a new mechanic we are planning for the game. So, we are currently working on a season mechanic for the game. We will have four seasons in the game, spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each season will have 30 days, allowing us to trigger seasonal events in-game easily. In the future, we also plan to add seasonal decorations to backgrounds and maybe even weather.
That's it for now. I want to take a moment to say thank you for your support. If you need to stop supporting the game at any time, please don't hesitate. We know things can be tight financially this time of year, and we understand entirely. Make sure you're taking care of yourself before supporting us. Thanks again for sticking with us. 2023 is going to be a year to remember.

Amazing! I always felt that was missing. I'm pretty excited about this game.

For sure. will there be variations in dick size as well in this game like there are with boobs?
The Gentle Viking
Clothes-wise, we hope to have a ton of options. Body-wise, we plan to have lots of hair, facial hair, eyes, nose etc. Body types might be a little more difficult due to the number of assets and extra animations needed, but we hope to have some options in the future.

Looks so fantastic. How customizable will bodies be in this game?
