Simbro ResErection Update + New WIP Video
🕑 Added 2022-10-05 21:17:10 +0000 UTCWhat's up, guys! I'm back again for some more info on Simbro resErection.
Let us start with some bad news. Our UI artist is ghosting me. I've tried to reach out multiple times and have not received a reply. I would typically assume that the artist is busy, but during this period, I can see their activity through discord, which leads me to believe I'm being ignored. This isn't the most incredible news, but all is not lost. I think I've enough UI material to make the rest myself. Unfortunately, this means my time is being divided between more things, but you've got to do what you've got to do. I always want to be as transparent as possible with all of you, and that's why I feel it's essential that you know everything going on with the project.
On to the good news! Things are going well (aside from the UI artist). Our character artist is now working on the "Idle" animations for the male and female base to free up some of my time. The background artist is working on the cabinet/office area. I'm looking into hiring another background artist to increase output. Finally, I've been hard at work getting the character creator ready, along with other things. All in all, it's been a great month, and we are pushing to get a playable version of the game out to you folk before the end of the month.
That just about sums everything up. I hope everyone enjoys the new WIP video, and I look forward to bringing more good news and progress next week.
