New UI & Julia Preview
🕑 Added 2022-09-29 00:51:46 +0000 UTCGood news, everyone! We have completed another batch of assets!
As you can see, our UI artist is hard at work getting the old UI a new look. Above, you can see the new brothel management screen in all of its glory. We want the new UI to be more accessible to the eyes while also staying functional, and I think the UI artist did a fantastic job here. As for in-game implementation, everything is almost done. I still have some things to sort out, but for the most part, it's fully functional.
On to Julia. As some of you may remember, Julia is another "love" interest looking for a job as a maid. I honestly love the redesign that the character artist did. Although her expression doesn't match her personality, I still think they captured the character well. I look forward to making the first encounter with her as it's one of my favourites.
Lastly, I wanted to talk about the demo and what it will contain. In my mind, a demo needs to capture most of the game's mechanics and some of its story. Although it would be easy to throw something together now and call it a demo, I think that would be a poor decision. So, the demo needs to have a few things; Brothel management, Intro, and one or two events, randomly generated girls to hire, and the big thing, animated "scenes" with NPCs. The official demo won't see the light of day until I reach that goal. With that said, I know everyone has patiently been waiting to play some game version. So, I will make a Patreon-exclusive version of the game that will contain the animated "scenes" for you all to check out. Now, this is still a ways off, as rigging, animating, programming, and adding sound takes time, but I just wanted you to know that this is something I'm working on.
That's it for now. Thanks, everyone, for the fantastic support. Every comment, dm, and new patron keeps my motivation high. I can't express how fortunate I am to have your support, and I look forward to delivering the next update.
