As you go through the series, youβll find lots of episodes where the monster is almost inconsequential, and the βrealβ story of the episode is all about the brothers and showcasing their relationship.

This is one of the first ever episodes that is written with a lot of comedy. Fun fact - Jensen and especially Jared are constant pranksters on set. Jared is insistent on making his co-stars laugh mid take. I would definitely recommend watching the gag reel at the end of each season - they're between about 7-12 minutes long and it gives a sense of the set and what it's like to work on it. I can provide you with the videos if you wish.
