G2A Isn't Just Worse Than Piracy... It's Also Very Stupid And Embarrassing (The Jimquisition)
🕑 Added 2019-07-15 14:31:42 +0000 UTCG2A has been humiliating itself recently. After years of ducking criticism, the grey market key reseller is finally unable to dismiss accusations, and its response has been hilariously sad.
Let Sterling, the Super Heavyweight Supervillain, take you through G2A's shady practices and ridiculous deflections. Oh my... let the Star Eater show you.

Good friggin' god, what a smug pack of jackals... oh, they're based in China, so they're essentially beyond legal reach of most of the companies they are ruining. That explains much.
This was the video after 2 years of watching that got me to sign up to your patreon. Yes Jim, You ARE dressed like a man to be taken seriously.

G2A is established at Hong Kong so there are probably legal loopholes that cause them to stay in business.

I think they will eventually be sued out of business. They are on very shaky ground and the managers of the company are likely too incompetent to give themselves plausible deniability that will actually work in court.

That headline on the gamingindustry.biz article I think perfectly surmises the the kind of people running the G2A racket. <i>"We're not a grey marketplace, people just don't understand our business."</i> Brilliant. It may as well of been "Nuh-uh! You're stupid!" The damned degenerate nerve of those people.

I cannot for that is fucking ineffable.

That was not Epic Games. That was Gearbox Publishing.

Is there a ticket link to the wrestling show in Pittsburgh? I tried looking on the website I might be blind as shit but I dont see an ability to purchase tickets for that specific show. Any help is appreciated!

Picture, my friends, a world in which Gearbox had gone ahead with its G2A partnership, and Randy Pitchford spoke up during this PR morass to try to defend them.

Too bad TotalBiscuit wasn't around, if anyone could raise a stink about G2A and get shit done it was him, he actually got Epic Games to stop selling the Bulletstorm Remaster on G2A.

I always remember this far too late, but yes, I'll try and remember to make sure this is done.

Jim, would you mind labeling game footage, or at least adding a list of titles to the description? Some of the games (e.g. the one at 2:51) looks fun but I have no idea which one it is :(
