I have great memories of playing this dull ass game ^-^ I still say " Moanin"! for morning . I did love the fantasy of being a teenage boy who gets an allowance every day.

Personally I don't think this game is as bad as you say, but it does have pacing issues, but this was back before open world games were really a thing, so i'm not going to crucify the game over it.

Have never played 1 or 2 but for some reason I purchased 3 on kickstarter.....i have issues that need professional help

I loved this game when I was younger, but I can't blame Jim for his opinion at all. You need to be really invested in order to enjoy the game despite the rough edges. (Though I don't have as much issue with games like Shenmue and BotW that act as if the world is not really designed around helping the hero finish their quest. There's something fascinating to me about a game world that is indifferent or hostile to your existence.)
