Wish I'd joined Patreon sooner, and pretty much joined just to support you. Keep up the good work.

Sometimes the industry is so full of self-pity and snot you doubt if you're actually dealing with adults.

Such a stark contrast. So unnecessarily worrying, yet still fitting.

Wow the spider submissions were AMAZING! Nice work everyone!

I literally created a patreon account and finally pitched in because the last two episodes have been fucking on point. Keep up the good work! Also, loooved the inclusion of that guillotine painting :) I'd definitely be part of that mob.

I always wonder... If you’re not going to animate the faces, why are you showing me an ECU of the model twitching? I’d druther watch a Japanese game with limited animation and still drawings...

regarding ME:Andromeda: Facial expressions kinda become a point when half the point of the game is the conversation, and it's the FOURTH game in the series, and has worse animation than THE FIRST ONE HAD. If you compare with Horizon: Zero Dawn, you'll find a lot of moments in HZD that had horrible facial animation, but you know that it's their first time, and that it's primarily the sidequests that have it. HZD's main quest animations were almost always great. I think I counted 2 times that it was sub-par. Contrast this to ME:A where you're being told your father is dead by someone who looks like they just had a botox treatment, and the makeup looks like it was put on by a blind person.

Those spiders were amazing! The winner really puts asset flips in perspective, eh?

Thanks for making an episode about this Jim. I thought Extra Credits' episode was excellent but I'm very interested in your perspective.

There's definitely a bit of "Hollywood accounting" going on when teams of 5 or less are managing to license these very same engines and put out stellar content that rivals AAA games in quality for a fraction of the price.
