Podquisition Episode 110: Gay
🕑 Added 2016-12-22 14:47:34 +0000 UTC It should come as no surprise that the Podquisition gang has plenty to say about Tracer's recent queer revelations (good stuff, obviously).Outside of that, Gavin tries to infiltrate the show with sly music talk, the Nintendo Switch got some new patent details, and one of us doesn't think Super Mario Run is very good.

I only heard about this yesterday and I have to admit, I've been having a good laugh at the haters.

Loved the Podquisition today! Was a really fun listen and seemed to have a really good flow <3

The (darkly) hilarious part is it seems like the biggest backlash is coming from Tracer/Widowmaker shippers. Hell hath no fury like a shipper scorned.

Totally fine with Blizzard's choice to develop their characters in unique ways that gives LGBT individuals a greater sense of identity/involvement, but I hope this doesn't careen out of control with Blizzard facing social media pressure to make EVERY character's sexual preference known. As long as the game is good, I could care less who the characters are shacking up with! :P
