FX's Shogun and Visiting Osaka Castle
🕑 Added 2024-05-06 06:15:54 +0000 UTCOsaka Castle was the site of one of the key moments concluding the Japanese civil wars of the Sengoku Jidai. If you have watched FX's Shogun, Osaka Castle should be very familiar to you. Thanks to Geek Nation Tours, I had a chance to visit the place, so I thought I'd film something quick for you.

"Other daimyo said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em! It sank into the swamp, so I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. I built a third one. It burned down, fell over, and then it sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up!"
