Podquisition Episode 37: Erotic Violence?
🕑 Added 2015-08-06 17:32:27 +0000 UTC On this week's cavalcade of misery, we focus a lot on Konami being a terrible place to work and a terrible company in general. We also try to work out what its Castlevania pachinko machine means by the term "erotic violence."Elsewhere, we do all sorts of grown-up talk about Mafia III, the woes of video editing, and what Destiny's erasure of Dinklebot means. It's a good podcast!

Folks getting shit on for being popular/successful? Nothing new there. Jealousy run rampant in folks. It's easier to point out flaws in your neighbors garden than to weed your own.

Is it just me or does Laura do a spot on impression of The Baron's musically inclined Son from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" when she mocks the point of view of butthurt racists? *Edited* The trailer for Mafia 3 is slick as fuck!

I genuinely don't give a shit if you plug your stuff. I think a lot of us kids of the 90s are more quick to anger about it because the Internet we grew up on didn't have constant plugs, but everything does now and it's one of the only ways to make sure people find your stuff nowa days. Kids expect you to plug shit. So go ahead Jimmothy. Plug away.

I'll just say that while I'll defend the *principle* of Red Ash (no one working on the one is working on the other except the director, and two-team studios are the norm in the industry), the shady behind-the-scenes mismanagement left me feeling fully justified in pulling out.
