Project Update - Retro's Debut
🕑 Added 2021-06-22 22:16:43 +0000 UTCThe models for the next project are ready. In the last update, I teased that I was going to implement a new dog model. It took a couple of days to try and rig and optimize the dog model to render at a reasonable rate of time. From 5 minutes, I got it down to around 1 minute per frame. Here's a brief preview of the current models in a render.
To put the amount of time it takes to render into perspective, my other animations took 15 - 30 seconds per frame. So, the dog model on it's own is literally doubling the amount of time it takes to render the animation.
Now, about the story concept of the animation. I'm going to take a bit more time to storyboard ideas for this and prepare everything accordingly. Particularly, I intend on trying make it more storybased, instead of just a simple loop.
Feel free to leave a comment or message me directly about what you think so far, and any concerns regarding the direction of this project.
