Please ignore the filename, it is Alpha, not Pre-Alpha.

You write that it's now out of Pre-alpha and in Alpha, yet the filename is "TreasureIsland_PreAlpha_v_8.0.2 .rar"…?

We will start working on it in March. Depending on how long it is going to take, but probably 3-4 month later. It will be faster from now on. Chapter1 (and everything around it, core-technology etc.) took more than 1 year. But now that we have a great foundation, things will progress much faster

It is a rar file. You need winrar or 7zip to uncompress it. But its definitely not a VLC file. Please try with Winrar, it‘s free.
