Happy 2022!

I hope you had some time during the Christmas season to get some rest. I certainly did but I am also happy to be back. Can´t wait to continue with animations and other things :)
My coder friend is not yet back but should be soon. They have some Covid cases in their home and people need to recover first. But I got the final assets from the Hair-Outsourcing guy for Marcia. Turned out really nice again :)
I will continue creating animations for the pose viewer in the meantime, starting with the 69-Standing position from EP3. There are around 20-25 (or so) poses left from older projects that I want to convert to Unreal and I plan to do that within the next 2 months (roughly).
After/during that I want to start with Episode 7 as well while my coder friend will be working on implementing all the missing features in the Pose-Viewer. After that he will tackle the things for EP7 of course and also core mechanics for the next game.
So 2022 you can expect:
- Early 2022: Feature complete Pose-Viewer
- Middle of 2022: Episode 7
- End of 2022: Early version of the next game
So we have plenty of stuff top do and it will be so much more fun to do in Unreal. Fun-Fact: One of you guys tried the Pose-Viewer on a Laptop with Onboard-GPU. The Unity games went black when you tried to run it with such hardware. The Pose-Viewer worked fine! So another sign that switching the Engine was a good idea! :)

Thanks! Actually for this type of hair we will most likely not be able to swap between characters. Maybe with real-strand-based hair that will be there further down the road.

That wood be awesome loved playing the movie maker and getting to switch characters was awsome to see will we get to see more new poses am shore u said sorry just wondering hope u have a good weekend off

Yes definitely! I would actually like to have the character-switching feature implemented as one of the next things we do once my coder friend is back. So you can then choose what character is doing what :)
