Eating a god makes him mega badass, that’s what

I like Archie 👍. He's my kind of asshole.

Awesome theory! I can't wait to see if it plays out. Wasn't there a story about the first unbound to be summoned (called) to the continent? That may have occurred in Book 1. I don't remember if it was revealed what happened to them.

A. B. Edwards

So this is my theory. There are seven Gods made of 8 beings: Siva, Noctis, Vellus, Avet, Yarrow, Pathless and the Twins (who are two as one). There are 9 Unbound. The Ruin leads to things being Lost like Vellus but I have a feeling she was "brushed" by Ruin and not really Lost but another God was. I think the Gods are the first group of Unbound ever to come. The Primordials ruled during the time they rose to Godhood. As for Cardinals, Cardinal is defined as "Greatest importance; fundamental." If Gods represent Harmony, Primordials Dissonance, then the Cardinals were the beings that existed before, the fusion of the two, the original rulers of the Continent. Felix is a Primordial, he has eaten bits of four Gods at this point and woven the bits of two into his pillars and is called the Cardinal Fiend. That is likely going to be his new race in time; Cardinal Fiend. And it is likely each other Unbound that joins his side will become a Cardinal. Avet said to become a God but Gods I think are just mortals at "Divine" advancement which is just another tier, likely above whatever the Herald was, and I have a feeling they are half-steps into the realm beyond divinity and that is why they are such monsters; their aspects are out of balance. Avet claims to be weaker, likely because all his aspects are just divine and that is why he is not insane like the others and not looking for a vessel. Long story short, I think he wants Felix to be a Primordial who becomes a God thus becoming a Cardinal, fusing together what was truly lost. And I have a feeling the Ruin itself is a Cardinal.

Ah, now that's interesting. Suppose Archie will be picking up the talents people ignore. They'll be fine Company men and women in no time. Spy craft is useful in any age.

Do you know which book that's in, I'd like to remind myself of what happened

Dustin

Pretty sure the primordials were the equivalent of gods. I don't think there were any gods until the seven we know, just like Greek mythology, with the Titans and their children, who called themselves gods. As for the Cardinal Beasts, whatever thing is inside the mountains the group had to cross to get to Elderthrone when they fought the Archon, I've got a feeling that that is a Cardinal Beast (Greater). It's the difference between entities that live in the corporeal realm and the cerebral realm

Nathan Emerson

A Cardinal Primordial God?

Azgaroth

Thank for the chapter. Does the chanter talk about the return of Cardinal?? Also with Felix being a Primordial but also being engaged on the Godly Path, if he become a God, does that mean he would be a Primordial God???
