No it makes sense... Felix kicked out, clawed feet scoring sparks against her abdomen and thighs[...] She squeezed, pulling Felix so close he could smell breath behind her dented helm. It was honeysuckle. They were hugging front to front so he just had to slid a foot behind her and since the blade of the fang is quite big it's an easy target for felix even if he's beaten up.

Is that last paragraph supposed to read “until Pit pressed his foot against the bone-white blade.” Doesn’t make sense for Felix to have his foot against it if it’s on the other side of Imara.

Hey chem so basically the fang is 8 ft long sword he got after he killed the primordial in harwatch at the end of book 3 and basically whenever he imbues essence in it it makes it really sharp and basically cut through anything(well that’s what I think anyway)but pit probably had the fang on one side of her back so it was easier to reach with his foot and then just imbued the essence into the sword from his foot then pit sliced her.Now he used riptose to kill the fire mage and basically that one changes length when he channels mana through it I think and it can get like super long, like in the last book when he was fighting the high guard he was able to use it to strike at a mana ship when he was on the ground to extended it all the way into the sky to hit ships shields.also I don’t really know about the pathless part but yeah I hope I was able to answer some of your questions,Ik it can all be confusing cause the story is so big and kinda complicated but that’s what makes it good

1) Her power boost is so high that it suggested, at least to me, that her connection to the Pathless is somewhat direct, i.e., that there was some of the presence of the Pathless within her. Given this, I was sort of expecting Felix's anti-divine buff to come into play. 2) The following passage was very confusing. Felix was facing her while being bear-hugged, and the blade was touching her back (it hadn't yet pierced her armor). So did Felix reach his foot around to her back to touch the blade? And how did him *pressing* the blade get it to penetrate her armor so that, when Pit wrenched it sideways, it cut her? Wouldn't Felix need to somehow *pull* the blade into her with his foot? "Pit hit her like a speeding semi, Blade of the Fang held within his beak. It slammed into her lower back, yet the Titan didn’t budge an inch, and the Fang didn’t even dent her armor…until Felix pressed his foot against the bone-white blade. " 3) That's the same blade that killed the last Grandmaster he faced (the firemage), isn't it? 4) I've noticed a surprising number of this new generation of fantasy writers misuse this word. It should be "unfazed", not "unphased": "Imara’s head rocked back, but her body was unphased."
