$2 Patreons and Ultimate Mercy
🕑 Added 2020-11-09 17:47:43 +0000 UTCHey all, just wanted to make a lil post update regarding the ultimate Mercy model.
I've decided to open up exclusively the Ultimate mercy model to $2 Patreons whilst I work on implementing updates to it. Typically I make models available to $5+ dollar Patreons but I felt this time round that I wanted to the model more accessible for a few reasons:
1: Its no secret that with the release of Ahro's new Mercy model theres some "competition" so to say with which mercy model to use. As his model is available for just $1 I couldn't really see any success in putting it at $5, especially when the model is already released publically
2: Whilst I try to work on the model any time spend on that is taking away time that could be spent on creating stills and animations. Whilst I do enjoy working on the models, undoubtedly the biggest short coming of mine to date is not being active enough, something thats been a focus of mine so far this month. Thats a long way of saying putting it out on patreon initially would allow me to justify spending more time on it as it's adding value to a patreon backing that otherwise wouldn't be there.
I'd also like to say to $5 Patreons, I'll be adopting this method going forward, that means any updates I make to models pre-release will be given out to you as soon as I finish them. That could mean daily builds on weekly, depending on how much time I spend on them. If you wanna keep up to date with those I'd suggest joining the discord server as thats where I'll probably post release notifications.
Lastly, Once I'm happy with the model in it's version It will be released publicly, so It wouldn't be staying as a patreon exclusive forever. But typically these kind of updates take me a couple of months so it should be a while between the patreon release today, and the public release in the future.
