Watchalong Update: Stupid Goddamn Daylight Savings

An update primarily for the US patrons. Daylight savings has kicked in, which means that the 7pm UK start time for today's Watchalong translates into 3pm ET and 12noon PT, not the previously advertised start times

I don’t mind it being a Tuesday as long as it’s a holiday but you know, why would they make it easier for people to vote? I’m not trying to come at the farmers. I need to stay in the farmers’ good books

The trope is usually farmers HATE DST in my experience (because cows don't read clocks). Farmers are who we blame for US Election Day being a Tuesday instead of the weekend. :D

Wish they just keep it and not switch back. But the government can't agree on it . Drives people annoyed especially being a graveyard shifter worker puts me behind

Just double checked and it seems like it’s a holdover from WW1 measures to save energy. So we actually have to blame the Germans apparently.

Thank you for the update as I totally forgot and would have been very confused. Also I’m pretty sure farmers aren’t the reason we have Daylight Savings Time.
