Feb 16 Watch-Party: 1st Round Poll
🕑 Added 2025-01-22 20:00:07 +0000 UTCThank you so much to everyone who’s signed up to my Patreon so far! Each and every one of you are smart, capable, and brave, and I’ve been assured by the Old Ones that when they descend and claim the Earth, you sweet people will be the very last to die!
Anyway, onto business! The first livestream watchalong will be happening on February 16th at 6pm UK | 1pm ET | 10am PT. I’ll be parking myself in front of a camera as we all sit and watch a wrestling PPV helpfully assembled for us on Netflix!
Those of you who’ve joined the £10 tier will also have a chance to vote on what we watch. I’ll be putting together a list of options, but first, let’s get a sense of what you’re all in the mood for. Each time we decide a show, I’ll make it a series of votes, because VOTES ARE FUN.
First round is simple. On Feb 16th, should we watch…
A famously GOOD Wrestling PPV
A famously BAD Wrestling PPV
The poll will close in three days (midnight Jan 26th UK), and whichever choice wins the vote, I’ll follow up with seven PPVs for people to choose from!
Follow your hearts, you ‘orrible sods

I will ask very little of you Mr AdBlamps, but I need you to do Refuse To Lose (2016). Whether that show is famously good or famously bad is up to you, but it needs to happen.
Mikey Ellis
Very True. Sometimes you accidentally watch a boring bad show and sit in crushing silence as wrinkles form on your face, hit another khallas, Jinder. Sorry just remembering 2017 WWE.

Let's try and keep it as 50/50 as possible 😂 let Adam know we are happy with anything
Joe Murphy
This is like the Brexit vote 😂😂
Adam Evans
The 2010 Royal Rumble was the first to feature Cena, Punk and McIntyre in the Rumble itself (I think) so that may be a fun one to see how each guy has evolved in the last 14-15 years while acknowledging all the wrestlers still in the business but maybe with other companies.

Crown Jewel 2018 you won't

Which ever you decide to do (the vote is exactly 50/50 right now), we will be there

If you do famously bad please make sure it's one that's so shit it's really funny
Andrew Slater
For good, let's watch whatever Rumble Adam thinks is the best. As for worst, not the 2015 Rumble, Wreslemania 19 (shout out to Dan Layton)
Sabry Aridh
Didn't he review this already with Brian Zane?
Nicholas Miller
I would like to use my vote to cancel out William Walker‘s vote
William Walker
Souled Out is the answer
Craig Gillespie
I am very excited for this, and am really hoping we can start this off with some truly bad PPV wrestling!
Fablo Twang
Good: NXT Takeover Dallas 2016 Bad: WCW Bash at the Beach 2000 Honestly either of these would be a good time 😂
Savage Henre
Signed up the moment I finished the video announcement! I voted good but honestly will take any Blampied Wresting Criticism Baby!!!!!
Hannah Winter
2022 Royal Rumble, not one but 2 awful rumbles
Reece Wilkins
I think that since this is the first watch along it’s better to watch Adam admire and give us little details of a good PPV as opposed to watching a suffering of boring nonsense for 2 hours like a bad PPV. I know people enjoy bad wrestling, but good wrestling is a good watch along for all of us!
George Ellis
Exactly. I can't think of a better way to experience such a classic show/match!
Matt hall
Wcw just before it closed is peak terrible
Matthew Moses
While I’m all for a bad PPV, part of me thinks starting the first watch along with some damn good wrestling is ideal.
Doc Watson
You know what's funny, I've never heard his thoughts on that horrendous Mabel vs Diesel match. Surely someone like Adam would have some insight to share, it's shocking we've never heard about it before 🤔
George Ellis
Summerslam 95 right guys? That's Adam's favourite!
Oran S1ayer
Netflix doesn't have the hilariously bad ppvs just the frustratingly bad ppvs so I gotta go for the good ones
Doc Watson
Listen, this is your first time back in the saddle for a while, I'll take either or. Do you have more fun being giddy over the best wrasslin, or laughing at the worst wrasslin? It occurs to me that we don't hear much about your preferences on the matter
Wayne Amsdon
You're absolutely god damn right I'm signing up to this. Happy to do either, just wanna hear my boy talking about good ol' rasslin again
ItzSmashley
Would like to see good at some point. But let's be honest bad is always more entertaining.
