Here are all the other sketches of the arts for the Mermen Month.

As you can see in the Original sketches for 16 - Oceanus, my intention was to include mermen close to him, both to give the notion of size (that he is really giant) and the sight of adoration on the part of the mermen for him. But due to the fact that I was short of time, I had to choose not to apply the mermen in the scene (maybe one day, I'll redo this art).
Another art that I would have loved to have had more time to execute was the last one (30 - Mermay)... I so wished I could have worked more on lighting and details in this Art.
And this one, really, I still want to re-visit and make a more elaborate version.
Now... some of you have asked me about when I created these arts and where my ideas come from.
Well, they are all works created by myself, and I did them on the very day I posted them (these are not works that were already done and just waiting for the day to be uploaded), so these series end up being very intense to me, as they take my time completely.
But at the same time, they end up being totally fresh work.
And my ideas... well, I read a lot, I study mythologies, fantasies, symbology... besides I'm passionate about biology, astrology, documentaries, philosophy, Magic, games... and my head is always working inventing. I just can't stop.
But was fun to it anyway.
hehehe I had to admite that, I always get impressed when I see all these sketches together! i think "Whaaaaaaat!!! You are Crazy!" Hahaha

Oh Bruno My Dear Friend!! Thank You, Thank You, THANK YOU SWEETHEART! 💖✨ You are so so Kind to me and my Work. You really make everything even more special (oh sweety, and you are a Gentleman! I wish more people could see value on my work as you do my dear) Now, about your question... I always wanted to do a MerMay with an Art a day... and after I did the Halloween and Christmas Series, I felt more confident! So since the beginning of the year I already had within me the idea that "when May comes, I will focus on performing the Mermen Arts!". But, it wasn't entirely clear to me what I would do... no further that the idea to repeat the format (of dividing into 5 thematic sub-groups) that I did in the two previous series... but I still hadn't thought of anything. And due to the little time I have left, due to work at the company (besides the gallery work - by the way, it's worth remembering that I had completed that Great Druid's Art at the last minute of April 29th!), I can't stop for a long time to reflect how much I would like... Being quite frank, it was exactly on May 1st, when I started to sketch what would be the first art, that I ended up planning in my head what the 5 themes and their colors could be, but I had no idea what arts I would be performing during the month... and I hadn't even decided the order of themes. By the way, an interesting point to tell you, is that the first sketch I started making for Mermay, was that of a merman combing his hair! Yes, the first sketches for the art that would later become the 13-Comb, were made on the 1st. But... I started to think that this was not the best way to start... so the scene came to my mind of Merman inviting the person to come with him... and I thought "That's it!", and then I decided the color and that sub-theme would be Underwater! And the rest will going with the flow... Now... Oh My, sorry for the Giant Text 😳 hehehe Eu me empolguei! 🙈

I just love love love your sketches! One question, did you thought about the themes before May? Even though you didn’t create pre work. And I think the arts are perfect as they are, but if you want to polish some of them, do it. And thanks again ♥️ I love your art more and more everyday 🖼 I still don’t understand why you’re not one of the most famous artists out there!
