28th July Update!

Firstly I'm in my new home and settling nicely!! I still don't have any internet yet, but it'll be hooked up on Friday, and I've been working on MM offline anyway, so that's all good. :]
I've spent the last couple of weeks assembling the courtroom sprites/functions and coding them into renpy, along with writing a loose draft of the court day. It's been nice to have a new challenge rather than working along the same lines, and I've made really good progress.
The public release with the gallery is taking a little longer than expected. I've got everything ready on my side, but the person working on the new gallery is a little delayed, and I'm happy to wait an extra few days if that's what it takes.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to answer a few questions that I've gotten lately...
1. Where are the last 3 cards!?
You'll be able to get them on the court day, and they may or may not be plot relevant.
2. Will Maya's sexual status affect the ending of the game?
It will affect the epilogue (I think I said prologue by accident last time) of the game, but I'd advise to play day 5 and 6 naturally for the first time, rather than actively trying to change anything.
3. Will we ever get a villain POV?
Unlikely. The problem with adding any POV stuff of what happened on the Tracker is simply the time and effort it would take me to remake those scenes to be viewed in full screen, and potentially from a second angle, plus with a quality and progression that's consistent with all the other scenes in the game. Those scenes were built to be viewed in the tracker only.
4. Will I work on another AA parody game after this one?
I'm not sure yet, but definitely not straight away. I'm hoping to make a completely original game after MM, and then after that's done, allow people to VOTE on what fangame I make next. I'd also consider putting myself up "for hire", to work on somebody else's project, but it'd have to be something REALLY SPECIAL for me to commit to something like that.
What I think will happen next is:
MM 0.6 releases with the Final Day/Ending/Credits/etc
MM 0.7 [FINAL] releases with Trophies/Unlockable Outfits/New Route/Final Cleanup + New GUI
MM Framework releases, so others can use my system to make something similar in Renpy.
Then:
I make a smaller OC game with my small team that I can put on Steam etc.
I use the funds from that to hire a bigger team and some amazing artists/musicians and make something REALLY FUCKING COOL for a second OC game.
...Then back to fangames, but I'll let you guys vote on what you want me to make!
Anyway, that's all for now, I'll post again soon with the finished v0.5 with gallery and fixes.

I'm glad to hear you're settling in well at your new home. I hope everything continues to go smoothly for you in the future as well. Personally, I hope to see a wider variety of Maya's NTR-style aspects in Tracker in versions 0.6 to 0.7 too. I'm also really looking forward to your future games.
