Hello again awesome people, v0.3 is finally ready for you to enjoy!
I always forget how difficult the last crunch of development is. Things crop up that need fixing, need adding, need perfecting, need editing, need rewriting, and my 8 hour days quickly turn into 13 hour days... This time it was really brutal and the last 2 weeks have been an intense grind, and I am exhausted, BUT it's here now and I'm really happy with it!

Played it? Okay cool, now I can ramble!
The first thing I'd like to address in this update is Rosey Thorne, the OC character that's been added in v0.3. She has been expertly designed and illustrated by a talented artist; Kamikazoo, who you've probably seen around the discord. I only really gave him a vague concept to work around and he absolutely smashed it!
The reason I wanted an OC character in the game is because I don't want MM to be an entirely derivative work, I want to add to the Ace Attorney universe, and give players a new character to love! Plus it gives me the liberty to do what I do best, and really go wild with her personality and dialogue. I hope you like her!
Regarding the Maggey section of the game, I've always wanted to explore Maggey's bad luck a little more, and I feel like in the games it wasn't fleshed out as much as it could have been. It's been really fun giving her the limelight in the beginning of Day 3.
The animated section in the bathroom turned out to be a bit of a nightmare... After I'd built, animated, edited and written the entire thing, I found out that Renp'y (the engine MM is made in) can't detect the length of time that a key is held, only that the button is held and released, so it sort of neutered the minigame and instead it became what it is today. It's still good, but it wasn't what I originally envisioned.
The scene gallery is ready to go, but the tracker gallery is proving difficult, and I'm hoping it will be ready for the public release of v0.3 in a few weeks. I could also write another FAT paragraph about building the computer from scratch but I'll spare you the details.. It was hard work, but I think it's turned out really cool with lots of secrets to find.
I'm going to have a 3 day break, and then crack on with the tracker gallery! Beyond that, I'm hoping to add a new route where you can avoid receiving the tracker entirely, and where Maya doesn't spend any time with Mike Hawk. This route won't be the focus of my efforts, but hopefully it'll be something that everyone can enjoy, so stay tuned for that too.
I'll do another post later on with my plans for v0.4, and about the future of the game in general.

Its saying I cant seem to find the last card on day 3 I feel like I clicked everywhere its says theres 5 cards and I got maggey, lana, dahlia, and maid maggey. Does anyone know where I can find the last card?

I found a bug in the android version, when you try to exit April's computer it softlocks to enter the password and you can't click out of it.

Bug report for day 2. One of the cards from the briefcase during day 2 doesn't seem to pop up? I found all five cards for the day but the card for Penny disappears right after finding it when I check my binder, the other two cards from the briefcase are fine.

Excellent update! I really appreciate both the Maya scenes and the Phoenix scene. I know it's hard to go on that line, but it's appreciated that you catered for both. Really great work

I replay the game after finished this awesome day 3. But now when we go to bluecorp 2 bathroom, it is Maggey's.

Appreciate your input and patience, and I'm glad you liked the update! To make a high effort fangame like this as a solo dev really does take 100% of my efforts, and I couldn't make it any faster without sacrificing quality. I will continue to do my best for you all <3

It exceeded expectations.. I was hoping the blacklight would come back. What a powerful item for a teasing setting like this.. and a see-through clothes possible power in the future?... seeing body-writing or.. maybe even a combination of the black light as well... Hmm. It says I missed "Mia's advice" in the gallery for day 2.. Not sure what that would have been. Maybe a specific other choice during that sequence. Well i've still found every card.. I guess at this point Phoenix can't just ignore what's going on. He knows and just can't stop it. But I guess if he's out having fun with Maggey- he can't exactly fault Maya going a bit extra. One thing I really liked was April's grin. She's such a goofy char that can switch personality on a dime so her giving Maya some motivation is nice to see. If I had it my way- she would push things further just to tease Phoenix... maybe she even knows about the tracker already.. but probably not. I half expected to check in one time where she's just staring straight at the tracker(view- somehow) and just blocking the action. Like she's just teasing Phoenix- maybe subtly mentioning that after meeting up but just playing on words. 10/10 game and it's really not even halfway done I suppose.. if you're going for 7 days.. Now to wait again. anyway about a non-tracker route... I know there's always people begging for vanilla but that's so much flavor content just gone. I really don't see it at all necessary but I hope you don't let it take too much time away from the other route and still make what you wanted to make.. it was tough enough to wait for this update..
