Side note- Boy howdy am I glad "White Day" isn't an actual holiday in America, or at least not to my understanding haha.
Anyhow to anyone who isn't familiar- White Day is basically the opposite of Valentine's day in how Valentine's is when girls give chocolate to boys, and White day is when boys give chocolate to girls. It's a thing in Japan but is in other Asian countries as well

I'd say that there's more pressure on guys than girls. But it would also depend on who's the "head" of the relationship, at least with same sex couples.

True; Japan has it split into two: we have Valentine's (Feb 14) and White day (Mar 14). The interesting thing is how they make it so girls give chocolate out first (Actually, considering how Japan's society is still pretty sexist, that makes a lot of sense that the girls would give chocolate first). Meanwhile in America, the pressure is more on guys to do the romantic gesture, right? Or occasionally have it two-ways but on the same day? I kinda prefer America's system haha
