Where Have I Been
🕑 Added 2023-06-05 00:13:47 +0000 UTCHello all. I know my absence here was unexpected. I am back and here to explain to you the events that have happened during the past two weeks. I am sharing this post with everyone so that anyone who is worried can see it too. Also, writing this post in a sleepy mood, sorry if there are any typos.
I haven't stopped producing content nor do I want to. In fact, as I told my patrons in my previous post, I was going to share the first part of a set I planned in May. I was getting ready and planning to share it around the 21st of the month when a very close member of my family was hospitalized with symptoms of a heart attack. I don't want to bore you or take your time so I won't go into too much detail. In the end, after some checks, an angioplasty procedure was performed. The doctor said there was no vascular occlusion and she did not have a heart attack. She was diagnosed with myocarditis though. A day or two later we came home. Since then, she's been off work, using her prescribed medication, and resting.
I know that I should have informed all of you who supported me in any way and waited patiently much earlier. I was very worried and stressed because everything happened very suddenly and I had never experienced anything like this before in my life. My mental state was not good enough to look at any of my social media accounts. I couldn't even reply to your comments here, which I always make sure to do. I apologize to those who wanted to reach me during this time but could not. I also want to apologize to my patrons who believed in me and trusted me. Trust is one of the most important things for me when sharing custom content. As someone who always tries to let you know immediately when there is a change in the plans and tries to stay true to her words, I am ashamed to break this trust in you. Hopefully, you can accept my apology.
After recovering from the incident, I went back to work on the set. I have been working on it for 2 days. I'll make every effort to share it by the 10th. And for my dear patrons, I plan to share it with all of them. In a few days, I am going to log in to my other social media accounts as well and make explanations and respond to comments/questions. Very important!! Those who have supported me by thinking about May and the set, or those who want a refund for any reason, please let me know and please do not hesitate due to this illness situation. Very important again!! if you want to pledge, I recommend you wait for the time when the sets/items are shared. I always respect the monetary support given and the right to request a refund but in case of such disruptions, you will not be charged twice and will not have to deal with the refund process.

Oh, Diana, I've never looked at content sharing this way. I had a kind of enlightenment while reading your comment. Most people, including me, have adopted the direct money method for the things they create. That's why, many creators suffer from burnout syndrome after a while. If we adopt the model you mentioned (less transactional approach), it will probably be healthier in the long run. I'll definitely think about that. you know, in spite of your suggestion about waiting to subscribe, your content is really cute and a lot of it is free right now, so it seems very reasonable to subscribe (esp on a lower tier). also, i believe that the patreon model is less transactional (like, direct money for items kind of thing), and more like enabling creators to continue to do what they love. in this light, i really think that subscribing even if it will be a while before any content is released makes perfect sense. i hope you are taking it easy on yourself. so happy to have found you!!
