This is just … meh … sometimes I like it and sometimes I don’t but with Nicki and her music (and I’m a barb) BUT, she needs a challenge … I feel like she’s just too comfortable with where she is which is fine and cool but it’s like girl, you got other female rappers rapping better than you and she (being Nicki) figures because PF2 sold this much or these songs did that so it’s a hit but a lot of trash songs and albums have sold millions of copies. it doesn’t mean the music is good all the time. When Cardi first came out, ohh Nicki was rapping rapping; not all of the songs were good but she was pushing her pen so … some other rap chick or whatever gotta give her a run for her money so we could get some bars 😂 and it’s really no shade … Like Taylor Swift, I love her music and I’m a Swiftie but her last album (Tortured poets department) was VERY successful but it’s not one of her best albums … Sure, I go back and listen to songs from it but that’s once in a while … And I get it, when artist get to a height in their career their just more focused on the sales because of the label etc but damm … people gonna drag you whether you do good commercially or not, just put out good music … I feel like some of these artist are just making music for their fans at this point and that’s not gonna work for a long time, eventually that same audience that’s been doing the a$$ kissing is gonna get tired of the redundant and lack luster sound … They’ll support you still because you’re Nicki Minaj or Beyonce or whoever but in terms of replay value … meh …

This is obv a feature as juicewrld is not alive to “collab” with Nicki. She obv wrote a verse to a song already made by the artist hence feature. Nicki tends to ride the wave of the artist. Out of respect she not gonna go hard on her friend’s song, on top of the fact he’s a friend that passed away on her bday. It’s a slippery slope for her as his fans may feel some type of way if she overshadows him on his song.

I didn't like it... I hate to say it, but Nicki was the worst part of the song, and it really sucks to say that, cause she's one of those artists where she usually stands out more than the person the song belongs to. But for this song, no. I feel as if she's just been on a musical and lyrical decline over the years... but that's another discussion. But Yeah Nicki just comes off as unnecessary and unneeded in the song and the “harmonies” don’t help her case😭its just not for me

Whether it's her song or not though is irrelevant, her singing and verse were not hitting. Many artists are featured on songs and slide, she did none of the sort 😭 and this song doesn't even say she's featured, it's listed as a collab: Nicki Minaj & Juice Wrld. But even still, being a feature doesn't make you exempt from criticism so I don't get that argument

One thing i can say about Nicki Minaj TODAY, is that she is being carried by how good she was in the past and the nostalgia of it all, and carried ofc by the barbz !! She garnered a strong fanbase that will eat up anything that she puts out but that doesn't change the fact that her current releases arent up to the standard that she once set for herself, and add on top of it the complete hatred towards up and coming rap girls... Just like you said Dee i guess she is at the tail end of her career I just hope she bows out gracefully and not taint her image much more than what she already did.

I’m guessing this is to promote juice wrld’s next and final album at end of this month… juice said that if he was to ever die young he’d want all his music to be released, which is damn near impossible cuz when he passed they found out he has over 3000 unreleased songs. But this collab is still odd, because this isn’t from Nicki’s deluxe or juice wrld’s upcoming album either. You’re not the only one to dislike this song, as a big big fan of juice wrld the label said that this would be his last “sad” song because his fanbase have had enough of and hated the sad songs and that the entire album would be “hype club” type songs only… I honestly don’t know if I’ll even listen to the album cause I know most of his leaked music lol. Great reaction tho. 😅

Me personally, I love it, especially being a sequel to All Girls Are The Same, his first big song. Just hearing Juice's voice after not hearing it for a while is nostalgic for me. (But that plane ride part is eerie asl considering how and where he died)
