Thats one of my pet peeves, idk if the guy tried to say to the lady that you were getting worked up over a backpack im not sure. But thats one of my BIGGEST pet peeves whenever you arguing with someone, standing on your ground, then they make slick comments, and then when someone else wanna know whats going on, they try to act like they didnt make any slick comments and you was getting worked up for no reason. Maturity and becoming more emotionally intelligent is really what separates the miserable from the happy people. As someone who lives in Iceland and I’ve travelled to Europe several times and taken the train, sadly this happens a lot … That’s just messed up … I hate taking the train through Europe to other destinations because some of the people are entitled or just act stupid (especially to foreigners) … And no, it doesn’t work like that with an open seat … there’s even a disclaimer in the ticket your purchase that says that if you reserve a seat (pre pay for it) it’s yours … Once your first class ticket or whatever ticket someone purchases has their seat number on it, YOU are ENTITLED to that seat … That lady was just plain dumb because she knows that’s how it works … And yeah, in some places when you travel in Europe (I’ve noticed this also) people like to sit next to you or within your space when there’s A LOT more spaces available … In some cases, first class tickets may not include a seat reservation but yours clearly did so you weren’t in the wrong … That lady was just crazy 😂…

Dee I know a bit of čeština due to a time where I wanted to learn loads of languages but I’m no where near fluent + I couldn’t understand bits where you were talking over them so I was only able to decipher a small portion which makes little sense to me as someone who wasn’t there for the full convo, but basically what I got was this "She had a seat reservation, and there was a misunderstanding, She has a reservation, but the seat is taken. The seat was occupied by a backpack. I'm from Amsterdam: Reserving yourself a seat is mandatory in most (high speed) trains but not all. It is still advised during high peak seasons to reserve yourself a seat if you want a guaranteed spot . It's true you can sit anywhere but if someone has reserved the seat you're currently occupying, you gotta move. So she was right, "maybe, nit sure", about being able to sit anywhere but you're absolutely right about the fact that she can sit her ass somewhere else 😂
