seems like he wants more action, sadly the shows action really isnt the main focus the majority of the show, you only get it in short snippits here and there

I don't think Frieren necessarily doesn't want to admit, but she doesn't understand why these experiences have such impact on her after all. Considering they have just been in the span of 10 years, which is insignificant in elf years. So I feel this journey is for Frieren to understand why they are important to her.
