For the Gals i’d recommend Ancient Magus Bride, would find it hard for the boys to like it but as a guy myself I still enjoy the show, the Dub is pretty great too, sorta like twilight with Faries instead of vampires

Please consider watching Monster, they seemed really invested in figuring out the plot of Death Note so I think they'd enjoy the psychological thriller mysteries in Monster :)

I want to recommend Sword Art Online (dubbed) again, as it was the first anime I watched with my mom right next to deathnote, and I think they should try it!

A lot of people are recommending a lot more Anime and thats fine but to be different ill recommend "Arcane" its an animated show about a video game but dont be fooled, the characters, story and animation are next level, and its in English so its a nice change of pace, its not too long too, only 2 seasons so about 18 episodes total. It is highly rated and very popular, i think it would be a big hit for youtube as well for sure.

If you ever do get a chance, I think Korean shows or movies are really perfect and your parents would enjoy them. I would love to see them watch when life gives you tangerines. It one of the best recent shows I’ve ever came across and is relatable to people of all ages and backgrounds. There’s a wide range of genres. Please consider it. It will give them something different and new

Here are some anime I think they will enjoy: Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Grave of the Fireflies, My Neighbor Totoro, I want to eat your Pancreas, Wolf Children, Your Lie in April, Violet Evergarden, and Erased. If they ever get into non-anime eastern movies or drama series, there are a ton worth watching. If they are particularly interested in shows from Japan, ones that really stuck with me were the drama series version of "1 Liter of Tears" and the movie "Drawing Closer". There always is the live action, "Alice in Borderland" series but it may be too much for them to watch. Many people in Japan love Korean drama and movies too, they are known to really bring you on a rollercoaster of emotions. I always wonder why Youtubers always watch the trendy ones like alice in borderland or squid game but never explore other eastern dramas or movies. I think if you did that, you'll grab a wider audience and viewership and possibly start a new trend. Finding the drama series or movies may be a challenge though.

Hello, I recommend the anime The Apothecary Diaries. This series is set in ancient China and revolves around solving mysteries within the imperial harem. I think it's a wonderful idea to shift our focus from anime set in Western or Japan to one with a Chinese setting. This is also a highly acclaimed and well-made series, so I hope everyone will give it a watch.

I think it's getting to a point where, they feel like they HAVE to keep these reactions going, because we're paying them. I honestly enjoyed them watching AOT and wouldn't be mad if they would've stop there. I think we should let them pick whatever they want or stop reactions completely if they want, instead of trapping them.

Makes sense. Demon Slayer probably has the most interesting first episode out of the two I've seen. Hope they enjoy it! Also, not sure if the anime in contention will mainly be action, but it'd be cool to see a reaction to something like Re:Zero or Death Parade (moreso Psychological)

when i watched demon slayer i really liked the first ep but i think that's the drawback, it's first ep is good but after that it becomes boring but i do agree that there are certain scenes which is amazing but the thing is that every anime of this genre have them and have much better story, build up and execution to it and jjk is a lot better than DS in every aspect (animation is DS is it's selling point)

All the Demon Slayer haters coming out 😂 the anime troupes like exaggerated expressions is definitely a culture shock at first but I specifically remember when season 1 of demon slayer aired everyone loved it, and it brought many people to anime. The anime is also beloved by the author of the manga

That’s awesome!!! I love all of them! But I think the group will enjoy watching Demon Slayers. The plot is very straightforward and not too long, so for anime newbie will understand easily. The show is also about to finish soon.
