A month had passed since Ichigo's devious plan had been set into motion, and the effects were beginning to reveal themselves. Zero Two's once svelte figure had subtly changed, much to Ichigo's satisfaction. The constant indulgence in calorie-rich snacks and extra portions at meals was starting to take its toll.
In the first month of her cunning plan, Ichigo had subtly but effectively set her scheme into motion. Ichigo had employed subtle psychological tactics to convince Zero Two to consume larger portions during meals. During their meals together, she would often order extra dishes, far more than they could reasonably finish. She'd then playfully suggest that Zero Two help her finish the excess food, making it seem like a fun challenge between friends.
Additionally, Ichigo took to baking treats specifically for Zero Two, knowing about her love for sweets. She would offer Zero Two an entire tray of cookies, cakes, or pastries, while subtly implying that they weren't up to her own high standards. Ichigo's manipulative tactics had successfully created an environment where Zero Two felt compelled to consume larger portions of food, all the while believing that it was simply a testament to their growing friendship.As a result, Zero Two had gained a noticeable amount of weight.

Overall, Zero Two looked noticeably plumper to Ichigo's hyper-focused eye, but the changes were not yet drastic enough to achieve the effect she had desired.
While Ichigo was glad to see her plan taking effect on Zero Two's physique, she couldn't ignore the frustrating reality that Zero Two and Hiro's relationship seemed not only unscathed but flourishing. If anything, they had become even closer, their bond strengthened by the challenges they faced together. Ichigo's jealousy only intensified as she witnessed their growing intimacy, fueling her determination to disrupt their connection.
