Dev Diary, December 20th, 2024
🕑 Added 2024-12-20 13:27:25 +0000 UTCI just finished post-work on the completed renders and animations a few minutes ago, so I've caught up on that end. The work folder shows 401 completed renders and 995 frames of animations.
The pacing of the start of this episode is quite fast, and to show the difference between the start of this and the last - at the 400 render mark of the last episode we were still at the beach in the beginning, while in this episode I've worked my way through 5 different locations.
The pacing will slow down when we get closer to the end and we're at the more romantic moments.
I'll get into the more animation-heavy weeks before too long, but for now, I'm just working my way through the episode chronologically, as that's my preferred way of working.
There won't be a new dev update next week since it's Christmas already, but I'll drop by with some visual candy during the holidays.
Other than that, I'll be back with the updates in the new year.
A little bonus render for you this time which I did quite a long time ago, as it was to be as a crossover in another game, but I don't know if it actually ended up being used (full size attached).

Damn, I stumbled upon Lexi in Artemis and it was a great party. I'd like to see Lexi in U4ia (maybe towards the end on Sea path) but Lexi unplugged. Anybody knows where that crossover should be? Thanks for everything Drifty, have yourself a great Christmas with family and friends (if you celebrate) and may 2025 be a fantastic year for you on every possible level. I hope your passion for game dev. and story telling will never fade
