🕑 Added 2023-09-18 09:01:54 +0000 UTC
Certainly, it's the picture I drew for the Winter Fair in 2018, and a short story I wrote around 2020 when I was told to make it about cherry blossoms. I apologize, things are a bit haphazard right now since I'm about to be hospitalized. I vaguely remember being into brush pens around that time.
Also, I'm not a pedophile; I simply appreciate cherry blossoms.

"It's sudden, but in our former world... in Japan, there's a phrase: 'The beauty of cherry blossoms lies in their fall.' What do you think of this phrase, Steph?"
"That... That's quite unexpected."
Cherry blossoms - one of the representative flowers of the Eastern Union.
Not surprised that cherry blossoms existed in Sora’s world, Steph thought deeply about his question before answering.
"No matter how beautiful a flower is, it eventually falls. It's not a given. When we admire cherry blossoms, we understand that. It's a deep and lovely phrase."
"Hmm, quite a shallow interpretation. Just like your life."
"Even my life is negated⁉"
As Steph exclaimed with an onomatopoeia 'bummer' behind her, Sora sighed and shook his head exaggeratedly.
"In essence, all flowers fall."
"That's brutally honest⁉"
Yes, Steph's interpretation applies to all flowers.
It's only natural to be amazed by Steph, who boasted her logic that didn't need to be limited to cherry blossoms, as if she had said something profound. But above all -
"When you hear 'cherry blossoms,' what everyone thinks of is not the 'cherry blossoms' but the 'cherry trees', right?"
Indeed, how many people have seen cherry blossoms up close? It might be hard to see the flowers blooming in the trees, but it's worth a good look.
Cherry blossoms - such a modest flower.
They're small and pale. They don't have a particularly good scent.
That's right - the beauty of cherry blossoms doesn't lie in the flowers themselves.
It's the cherry trees, all blooming at once.
That's what's beautiful.
"So, 'the cherry tree is beautiful.' Have we agreed so far?"
"Uh... I guess...?"
Not sure what he wants to say, but for now, Steph nodded, inviting Sora to continue.
"Then let me assert this: cherry trees are always beautiful."
Spring - the cherry trees, clustered like clouds, are certainly beautiful.
But cherry trees are, first and foremost, characteristically beautiful, starting from their trunks.
The vibrant, lush green leaves can only be enjoyed in the summer. One should be speechless at the sight of the leaves turning red and falling in the autumn. Similarly, the winter appearance, wearing a snow makeup, letting frost cover its buds, patiently waiting for the flowers to bloom again -
"Do you understand? Cherry trees are naturally beautiful. Whether they bloom or shed their flowers, whether their leaves flourish or wither, there's not a single moment in their continuous change like the four seasons that they are not beautiful. This very appearance captivates people to the point of being written in poetry. Hence, 'The beauty of cherry blossoms lies in their fall.' It's not about appreciating the fleeting moment until they tragically fall. The beauty lies in the changing state - that's my interpretation. Any objections?"
"----------"
Steph was speechless.
Was she defeated by Sora in the sensibility of admiring flowers⁉
Ignoring Steph, who was shocked beyond expectation, Jibril, who had been quietly listening until now, solemnly interrupted.
"I see, you truly are the master. But, how does that connect to the question asked earlier by Dra-chan, 'Is Sora a lolicon?'"
That's right... the story started when Sora was stroking Shiro, who was sleeping as usual on his lap, and was suddenly called a lolicon by Steph.
Therefore, Sora, seizing the opportunity - responded like this.
"Just as the beauty of cherry trees doesn't change whether the blossoms fall or wither‼ The beautiful Shiro, who is now as beautiful as a fully bloomed cherry tree, is fundamentally beautiful whether she grows up or becomes an old woman‼ It's absurd, a laughing matter for me, who understands such wabi-sabi and purely admires beauty, to be called a lolicon, who can only love 'fully bloomed cherry blossoms'‼ Be grateful to the times, you would have been tried for disrespect in another era‼ I often forget, but I am the king‼"
Thus, Sora proudly proved his innocence - but Steph returned half-heartedly.
"It's wrong to describe a child as 'in full bloom.'"
"Um?"
"Usually, children are 'buds,' you know. Generally, someone who calls an eleven-year-old girl 'in full bloom' is called a lolicon."
...Wait, did I... did I really⁉
Well, Sora dropped his gaze again on Shiro in his lap.
"...Nii... I love..."
Is this sleeping beauty, muttering such sleep talk, a bud?
NO. Even describing her as a fully bloomed cherry tree is not enough - there's no doubt that she embodies the beauty of her prime.
So, is it wrong to feel this way?
Is it... absurd? Was I refuted by Steph⁉ Me⁉
"---No, that's not it‼"
In the illusion of crumbling footholds, Sora, who barely held his ground, laughed defiantly and roared.
"She's like this when she's still a bud‼ Shiro will become even more adorable and beautiful in the future. Just like cherry blossoms, she's the most beautiful today and will continue to be so‼ There's no concept of 'prime'‼ I'm not a lolicon‼"
While Sora successfully cleared his doubts, he was persistently asked by Jibril, a 'cherry blossom that doesn't fall,' whether she was beautiful and, even if she was beautiful all year round, which period he liked the most was another matter, and when he finally liked the most.
During that time - no one noticed that Shiro, who continued to pretend to sleep on Sora's lap, was blushing cherry red.
