- 3 Pilot events
- Most game play systems
- A bunch of UI polishes
Things to do before release:
- 1 more pilot event
- Defeat screen and mechanics
- Music and sound
- General polish and balancing
So close and yet so far.
Music and sound is something I am not confident in. I don't want to rely on just free music this time, but I may have to resort to it.
In terms of overall work remaining, first release by the end of April is possible. If everything went well, which it usually doesn't, but at least it is within the realm of possibility.
Distraction continues to be the number one threat to progress.
Just this month I had two small ideas that I want to make mini comics out of.
- A where are they now story about that horse from dragon quest
- A short story about meeting a woman from the "Reproduction" department
I had to stop myself multiple time from working out the plot outline on those. I still need to finalize the storyboard for one last pilot event. Until that is done, I can't be wasting brain space on other things.
Ass backward as it is, I am looking forward to working on one of those idea after the first release of Victory Force: Forever War.
