Although it's not the company itself, it could be anyone, or in this case, a troll, who sent the report. Despite the fact that the name of the entity in charge of the franchise appears in the message.

The problem with copyright is that companies are required to send an immediate request for takedown. The one making the claim doesn't have to give proof of copyright ownership either. Quite a few newer and bigger or fastly growing creators are being targeted in this way.
