Big Update and Schedule for October 2021
🕑 Added 2021-10-02 18:34:31 +0000 UTCHeya guys, we got a new month and I like to break the silence and talk about a few things. I wanted to make the post yesterday but the 2nd vaccine shot got the better of me and I announced I delay it to today on my Discord.
Reason for my abstinence:
I always tried to be as transparent as possible and I want to continue that.
At the beginning of the month I was thinking and testing a bunch how I want to go about the upcoming TGTF animation. I couldn't really nail something down, went back and forth and I became quite anxious of the thought that after this long wait it could be a disappointment to some. Don't get me wrong, I'll try my best to make it good if not awesome and something which I'd like myself and can be proud of. I always worked with that mindset and it's probably the reason why you guys follow and subscribe to me because you like the same kind of content as me, I assume. During August I didn't play any games even though a friend tried to convince me to play Final Fantasy 14 for the past 1-2 months. I planned to continue it like this because I've a personality who really struggles with balancing gaming and working and I can't focus that well. I either do one or the other. Like I mentioned, working on the animation was stressing me really out and since I didn't do much to relax I made the decision to try out FF14. I then started playing a lot and I'm almost done with it in terms of story. My plan now is to "finish" it today/tomorrow and completely shift my focus on work again for the entirety of the month. I treated September as vacation I'd say and did a few social activities like going multiple times to the cinema (after 1 year of covid restrictions), meet up with friends and family and get some real life stuff done like getting both vaccinations and more. This vacation was never really a conscious decision and I was basically just living in the moment which is why I never made a vacation announcement or that I'll be a few weeks gone. I'm still very sorry for that! For that reason I paused the October charge and because I wasn't active last month at all I want to go hard if not harder this month and for that I created some schedule for October.
Schedule:
- 10/05/21 +/- 1-2 Days -> How to become a succubus part 1 comic page
- 10/12/21 +/- 1-2 Days -> How to become a succubus part 2 comic page
- 10/15/21 +/- 1-2 Days -> A Succu(lent) Bond animation dream sequence
- 10/18/21 +/- 1-2 Days -> How to become a succubus final part 3 comic page
- 10/29/21 +/- 1-2 Days -> A Succu(lent) Bond animation TGTF sequence (partwise)
- Unscheduled -> Halloween Special
- Unschedulded -> More (sequences, pin-ups etc.)
Some information about upcoming content:
Like I mentioned in a earlier post I like to do some sequences / comic pages for the "How to become a succubus" additional content for the main project. Those will contain some exposition/world building and every part is basically a standalone.
About the animation part for "A Succu(lent) Bond": It'll start off with a dream sequence which will be the first post in the middle of this month and then transition into the real world again where the "magic" happens in the second post near the end of the month.
The Halloween special is unscheduled currently because I don't know what exactly I want to do. I'd love to do some short animation with Blender (5-10 seconds) but it'll depend on how much time I got and how fast I can get through my schedule. Minimum will be a 3-step sequence though.
Some happy side notes:
I've to report some good news in terms of my progress with Blender. I figured out how to use tools to transition skins smoothly on the body which gives me a wider range of possibilities even compared to my current program I use. I always have to cheat my way around and the workflow is really tedious. This should help me to speed things up and make it look better. I prepared a gif demonstrating a simple change of skin texture with a moveable object. Beyond that I'm super happy that there's finally a possibility to make the amature of the character move with the bodyshape/morphs in Blender. This wasn't possible till the last couple days but a addon creator of a addon I use to bring my characters to Blender added this feature. I'd have to work my way around to avoid ugly deformations but now I don't have to worry about that anymore. I didn't really deep dive the new feature and test various scenarios yet but the basics work quite well. I added another gif as demonstration, pay attention to the yellow highlighted rig moving with the body change.
Anyway, that's it for it for now and thank you for reading and sticking with me and much love for all the support! See you in a couple days.
P.S.: The 2nd vaccination is still a bit draining but it's getting better. :)

All work and no play is no way to live. If it means more consistency at the expense of quantity, adding in some buffer for downtime like games may really help you, within reason. You do good work so it'd still be worth what you currently charge. Incidentally you also outlined half the reason I don't play MMOs anymore lol.
