Afeminacíon Update + New Graphic Cards
🕑 Added 2020-05-11 03:43:55 +0000 UTCThe pages I was working on took longer to prepare since it has more than 2 characters on one page and they also take forever to render.
Usually I would render characters seperately and put them together on one page if possible because that speeds up render time a lot but in this case I couldn't do it, since they are so close together that they cast shadows on each other. I'll keep this batch a bit shorter than originally intended.
This issue with rendering too long got me actually over the edge now. I ordered 2 new graphic cards which are about double as fast as my current ones. My second PC is too old to render the scenes at all and I will use my current ones for that PC and I'll be able to render parallel with it again which puts me about tripple the render speed as of currently. I actually regret not buying them when they got released, honestly. I could have saved so much time since then. For next generations of graphic cards releases I'll act faster if the performance increment is as big as my current ones to the ones I ordered. They should arrive on Tuesday I assume.
Sorry for the delay, I'll keep you guys updated. I most likely will have to push some dates of other projects a bit. I'll evaluate the situation when I'm done with Afeminación.
P.S.: I ordered 2 2080ti from MSI with NVlink for those are interested into it.

I know that I'm late. Without corona the 3000 series would have been already announced but people estimate a release in October or November and probably the 2080 first, then the 2080ti a month or two later. I don't want to wait another 8+ months. :D My render program has to support them too, which can take a couple months more.

I'll let you know how the 3080ti works...when it releases. But hey I should be thanking you! You just bought two new cards, that means they have to announce the new series next week! Because that's how it works, buy the new one today, outdated next month. 😂 Just kidding-just kidding, I'm happy for you.

No worries! Thanks for the update.
