Eh, she's already being pushed into a corner by Voldemort. It's only a matter of time before he stops "politely suggesting" that she and her children come be his hostages, and starts demanding it on pain of death. She (and to a lesser extent, even Lucius) are already looking for a way out, which would inevitably make them enemies of Voldemort if they succeed anyway. While protecting her from Voldemort's retaliation will be difficult, the same could be said of any Minister they back. Because the second a competent anti-Voldemort Minister is in power, Voldemort will start working on killing them off regardless of exactly who they happen to be. At least Narcissa would be aware of the danger and would be better equipped to prepare for it than most.

Thanks for the chapter. It was cute seeing dumbledore all twinkle-eyed over Juno using Harrys feather as a wand core, and the basilisk bone as the casing. Juno was quite shy about him knowing it, I am sure.
