Yes, you can sprint if you complete the Scholar's Quiz in Colussia, and you can teleport if you finish the one in Port Ronod.

All the games come with a manual, but first you need a unzip the download file before you can do anything. :)

How do I play the game?

If the next beta doesn't have any additional story, I will at least open up a new portion of the map early so a bunch of additional locations can be explored. ^^
